Who is this you ask? Meet the Scarlet the Ladybug! Scarlet is our top of the line Ladybug spring rider. Scarlet the Ladybug is completely compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) making Scarlet an ADA spring rider, a highly unique and sought after species of playground equipment. Scarlet’s sturdy roto-molded surface meets ADA guidelines by having an entrance point on the side of the spring rider meaning it is easily accessible to special needs children. Scarlet has a seat large enough to safely hold a single child. Its interior surface has a horizontal grab handle for kids to hold on tight while bouncing around and having fun. There is a foot rest in the base of the unit that has 2 horizontal bars for safety. Scarlet is an excellent investment for any playground because its high quality durable material will last for many years of varying weather conditions and can endure lots of use by kids!

The “Spring”
Scarlet the Ladybug’s spring is not so much a spring as a strong steel band that holds up the unit. This is a more common design on modern spring riders as it is safer and sturdier. The steel band means less material is used than a conventional spring but will also last longer because the strain on the band is less due to the motion of the spring rider.
